Melissa Ford Lucken holds an MA in Special Education from Eastern Michigan University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Lasell University. She is a professor of creative writing and composition at Lansing Community College, where she serves as editor of The Washington Square Review, the college’s literary journal. Alongside her academic work, she publishes fiction Isabelle Drake.

Washington Square Review, a literary journal, publishes fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. Work for the Washington Square Review must be submitted electronically via Submittable. Submissions, done via Submittable, will begin annually in late January or early February.

Washington Square On-Air, a literary podcast, serves as the audio town square for the Washington Square Review, the literary journal of Lansing Community College.
