About
Melissa Ford Lucken is a professor of English and creative writing at Lansing Community College, where she teaches creative writing, composition, and integrated reading and writing.
She edits The Washington Square Review, the college’s literary journal, and hosts three podcasts: Washington Square On Air, the journal’s partner podcast, and the two Off the Page shows, which feature the creative and scholarly work of LCC students.
She publishes and presents on writing, developmental education, and popular culture. She writes fiction as Isabelle Drake.
